Time to get serious!
Oh my, this is the first I have been on the scale for awhile. Yikes. I do not like the way I look…..I have gained weight gradually over the past five years. My husband has one of those unbelievable metabolisms…..he eats huge meals, snacks, never has to worry about his weight(which is now 25 pounds less than me). I like the idea of being able to log me thoughts, meals, and happenings…..maybe this will helpe stay focused and get back to what I used to be. I have a very happy life….we are retired, have a 70 acre farm, have horses that we drive and three great dogs. I should never be stressed….so why can’t I lose weight? Today will be my first day of success….I just know it!
Love it ! we all have different high & low points of our bodies! Work with urs, feed it in to control - ur husband - oh well. Good luck!
Here’s why. At our age you can only eat about half as much as when we were pre-menopausal. I found that out the hard way. My husband is in a wheelchair and has lost more weight than me on purpose. That bugs me that he has more self control than I do. So, I need to do the same and have lost 25. I have 20 more to go. Good luck. Carol J
hi… from all the blogs yours was the one I could relate to the most… I am 55 and over the last 15 years I have gained 100 lbs (5 per year between 40 and 50 and 10lbs per year after 50) at this rate I will reach 300 lbs by the time I am 60 My husband has weighed the same 165 lbs all 30 years we have been together. He is not a big eater but he consumes chocolattes and cookies at enourmous rate and does not gain a pound. .. Good look with loosing the weight I will be starting tomorrow
